Wave That Pick: AAC Picks for Week 4

JP Picks Some Games

By JP Gooderham

We are back this week with "Wave That Pick," and there are three AAC games that look interesting to me this week. But first:

How are we doing?

Last week was my first time doing this, and we came out 2-2 after Cincy's comeback to beat Miami.

Winners: UVA -10.5 vs. UConn, VT -23 @ ECU
Losers: Tulane +35 @ Oklahoma, Miami -4.5 vs. Cincy

2017 RECORD: 2-2 (50%)

Picks for Week 4

1. ECU @ UConn -4.5 | UConn

At first glance, it's hard to believe the Huskies are a favorite but here we are. I have watched a lot of ECU, and there's nothing good to say. Their defense gives up points at an incredible speed, and UConn has showed slight signs of life under Rhett Lashlee. I think a not very good team beats the very bad team this weekend at home.

2. Army @ Tulane -3 | PICK: Tulane

The Black Knights are coming to New Orleans with several starters out, and the Green Wave survived OU pretty unscathed. I think the Wave gets their season going today with a win by a TD or more.

3. UCF @ Maryland -6.5 | PICK: UCF

UCF has had a long time to wait for this game, and obviously needs reps, but I think they are undervalued here. Milton looked excellent, and I think they keep this within a TD.
